Designed to cope well in harsh and aggressive environments UNS S31803/2205 is a cost-effective duplex stainless steel. Displaying effective resistance to stress corrosion cracking, corrosion resistance under warm seawater conditions and excellent pitting UNS S31803/2205 is used for a wide range of applications across numerous industries.

After many alloys failed UNS S31803/2205 was developed as a corrosion resistant material to be used for North Sea oil pumps. Following its success UNS S31803/2205 soon became the alloy of choice for many applications across a wide range of industries.

●  Excellent corrosion performance
●  Superior resistance to seawater crevice corrosion
●  Extremely reliable
●  Outstanding resistance against stress corrosion cracking under most conditions
●  Great resistance to most concentrations of sulphuric acid

UNS S32205 Stainless Steel is one of the more common stainless steels available. This particular compound is so popular due to the fact that it performs extremely well in a wide range of circumstances.

Over the last few decades, the standard S31803 composition has been refined somewhat. This in turn meant that the resulting composition was confirmed and all but endorsed as UNS S32205 back in 1996. This gave UNS S32205 better resistance to corrosion, although the majority if the S31803 also adheres to the S32205.

●  Chemical process vessels, piping, and heat exchangers
● FGD scrubber systems
● Pulp mill digesters, bleach washers, chip presteaming vessels
● Food process equipment
● Oil field piping, heat exchangers

F55 Duplex is a super duplex stainless steel which has been designed to tolerate harsh environments. Cost effective, F55 is used widely across many industries, its impressive features include:
